Mainframe Communications – Rail & Metro

Mainframe Communications Ltd has been supplying to the Rail Industry over 20 years. We supply, design, and manufacture bespoke solutions for all sized projects.

We have developed a range of products suitable for the Rail and Metro environments. These include IP and Fire-rated ODFs, splice enclosures, tap boxes, optical fibre cables, trackside joints, and cabinets.

We also sell LUL approved and certified product.

As with LUL, our products are required to meet stringent environmental specifications as they are often deployed in safety critical systems. All our rail products are extensively tested at a recognised UKAS approved testing facility to guarantee compliance. We currently have products supplied into Network Rail & DLR and outside of the UK in Turkey, Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates. Our goal is to work with rail signalling providers to maximise the performance of the optical fibre segment in their systems.

Products can be supplied from our standard range or can be supplied as bespoke units to suit the customer’s requirements with LUL / Network Rail approval for applications ranging from CCTV, trackside signal, control room, multimedia display and on train systems.
